Theory: When you replace the stock springs with harder springs, you have to replace the stock struts, so they can handle the extra force. The purpose of a strut is to absorb the spring's energy (so you aren't just bouncing on springs all day). These struts have five positions (for varying the stiffness). I noticed a bit of difference between the positions, but it was not as significant as I expected.
Opinion: It's tough to just say my opinion on these (because I did the wheels, tires, springs, and struts at about the same time), but overall handling has improved immensely! The car handled so well before, but now... now... WOW! What an improvement!
